Cancelling Amiami ordersCancelling Amiami ordersPolls

I'm on the fence about a couple of figures I've pre-ordered from Amiami. I was really into the thought of getting them but as the months go by I find myself less keen.

I've seen on Amiami's website that they don't let you cancel you order. So I was wondering what happens if you just don't pay for an order? Do they cancel it themselves? I would assume that it isn't as easy as that

I'm not really sure if I want the figures right now but I was just wondering about this so if I actually do not want to buy them then I don't have to worry about it so much.

Just drop it in your cart, proceed to check-out, choose to "Ship with this order" and finish the check-out process. You'll get a payment request the next business day for that item. As long as you don't combine it with any existing open orders, they'll process and ship it by itself.
Thank you! All went well

DanteMagica7 years ago#3447473I had preordered something a while back that's coming out this month that I don't want anymore but they also have a figure in stock that I want to order today, you think if I order that they will ship it separately and then I can cancel the preorder later on?

BikiniSntchMnstr9 years ago#2212017I just read their FAQ, which they appear to have updated, and the wording of their policy on cancellations seems much less..."tolerant"...than it was before. At least to my recollection. Of course I read this after writing them a cancellation request so now I'm a bit concerned. I guess I'll find out if this will be the straw to break the camel's back. @[email protected]
In my previous experience, however, I haven't had too many issues with cancellations. Mine were always partial order cancellations, normally 1 item out of a bunch, and I've only ever had to cancel 2 or 3 times. It's been about 6-8 months since my last cancellation and my previous orders within that time have been pretty hefty. I'm hoping my loyalty and the sheer amount of money I've sent their way will have some bearing on their decision and they'll show me a little mercy leniency and not throw me in the Phantom Zone blacklist me.

Okay so I think I screwed up major with amiami and they hate me now, Im new to their website and heard of their awesome variety for their nendoroids. Im also new to their shipping methods. I thought that you could place an order, get an estimate shipping and then if you like it, proceed, and if not be like yeah nah dont like that price. So I dumbly made two orders and on the third made the final payment. So what happens to the other two orders? I sent them an email asking to cancel them, naturally. They cancled The first one and then asked me to make the other payment. When in reality they all have the same nendoroids in each order. I sent another begging them to cancel that one aswell. And im hoping they appeal. What if they dont? Im scared to pass that Pay by date, will They charge my craditcard automatically? --scared till then, and definitely not making this mistake again...

Ouch just asked them to replace 2 items and cancel 1 in two of my separate preorders, hopefully they are okay with it. I feel really bad at the same time >___<

falugalob11 years ago#950715Not a helpful post but

*Trailer voice start*

"In a world where canceling figures will result in eternal exile...
A world where doing so, will leave you a wanted fugitive.
One girl... Must stand up... to prove what she believes in, is right.

falugalob: Do you know what they'll do to you if you cancel?!
Girl: Do you know what will happen if I don't?

This Summer, prepare to have your collection knocked off their bases-

*Footage of explosions*

A motion picture too big for your display case-

falugalob: We're trapped!
Girl: That figures. lol get it? Figures.

You cancel your order... They cancel your life.

-AMIAMI: THE MOVIE-"

fund it.

kippy666As it turns out I had to take both my cats to the vet because of reasons and had to cancel those figures to make sure I would have enough money for it.

I emailed Amiami about it and thyey let me cancel my order ^^

Hope I don't have to do it again...

It is a lame feeling isn't it? But your wallet is likely a lot more happier:).

momoThat's my approach to canceling with them as well. I've been buying from them for so long, and I occasionally cancel a few times but its more of just an item and they do send me that same e-mail "We don't normally do this..." I'm wanting to cancel something for my June order but I;m waiting to pay for my May order first so it doesn't look bad haha. But either way, I buy from them monthly and my orders are always 10,000 yen+. I pay quick except for one time when I had a question to split the order for cheaper shipping, but then they went on golden week...so it went overdue for like a day, and they tell me I should e-mail them earlier (which I SO did) but it went fine. I think its fine if you have a good buying history :D~
Ohh I didn't know you can request them to split the orders to save shipping costs, cause I'm always hesitant to add something to an open order in case it goes over SAL-able weight.
