@FIFTY_PESO messaged me about replacing a base for their ITEM #413597 figure who’s OG base was broken:
User sent me the OG base to reference off of.
Sadly I was not able to measure the peg sizes. I tried to measure using the tools I had but at this point, there really isn’t room for error. If I didn’t measure correctly, the holes might be either too big or too small for the required pegs. I didn’t really wanna gamble with these blank acrylic discs
BUT
Good news: I do know these types of scale figures usually use 2mm- 4mm pegs. I ordered a variety of dowel pins from Amazon and I found a box that comes with a whole bunch of different sizes from 2mm to 4mm
I decided to send the user a blank acrylic disc along with the assortment box of dowel pins. I asked them to do their best to measure where the holes will go AND what pegs fit their figure also to mark the prototype base with the measurements.
They did just that and sent me back the blank disc with the labels. User did a good job in labeling the measurements. A+
They labeled which peg would go in - in what hole.
I drilled the holes where the user marked their measurements and glued the same dowel pins they had already tested on their figure.
I sent back the custom base and SUCCESS! User confirmed their figure fits perfectly on the new base.
