So I just got in ITEM #1258843. To my dismay she came with a noticeable crack in her right twintail. While I knew to expect this from the comments. I wishfully thought that maybe I would be the chosen one. I was not. As I picked up the figure to inspect the damage I watched in horror as the break expand her twintail now only holding on by a thread. At this point a carefully set her down. And proceed to run to my mom and beg her to go with me to a connivence store to pick up super glue. When I came back I had found in the mayhem I somehow lost the jewelry for one of my lip piercing(still haven’t found it). I attempted to not cause the break to get any bigger while applying the glue but in the end it was futile and the whole piece broke off. At this point I decided to put her on the base and put the support pole in and hopefully that would help stabilize it. After a hour of fiddling and 3 YouTube videos I was finally triumphant. Her hair piece is now stuck on her head. While I’m pissed at FuRyus carelessness. I’m glad I was aware before unboxing it. As I was able to record the whole unboxing. I’ll now try to get a partial refund from T.O.M. While she looks so stunning I think I may have glued the hair piece in a little wonky as she doesn’t look like the promo(her hair sticks out more and seems bigger). I’m fine with it though because if I hadn’t looked at reference photos I’m doubtful I would have noticed. Here’s pictures of how she looks now

This is guaranteed to be the only figure that Titan gets, so I really hope it doesn't come with a ton of issues...
I'm saying if you decide to return a figure make sure it's the final decision so you don't regret it later and by that i mean later in life you could have probably fixed it or hide the defect in a creative way. Same goes for keeping so later in life you could have regret not returning for a refund cuz you needed the money.
You cant tell unless you inspect it. I never wanted to return it even if it broke. I'm in the process of requesting a partial refund. Reasons I don't want to return 1. don't want to get another broken one 2. I feel as though its a waste because I can enjoy it in the state its in. Overall I'm still happy with this purchase because I got it for a reasonable price, and it looks stunning(really wished they would've separated the larger twintail).
Maybe not as long as you take care of it even with its defects. I don't think the manufacturer knew this was gonna happen or thought the likelihood of it happening was slim and a handful of batches might be affected. Either what they decide to with her is their business but they should fully think before pulling the trigger as to not regret their decision.
They could get one but that replacement will probably have the crack as well so it's back to square one.
Emotions can run high, so I want some time to calm down and start thinking clearly again. You generally get one shot, as you pointed out, so I don't want to be stressed or in a rush, and I do want have both the right tools and a game plan for how to do the cleanest job possible. There's no reason to start working on it until you're ready.
Sorry this all happened to you, Furyu really fucked up this time, and I thought their usual habit of not including support poles in promo images was going to be the worst of it. I was thinking about getting her second hand for cheap, but I might have to go to an official retailer since they can replace a broken figure more easily.
But yeah sucks that stuff like that slips by QC :p
It’s already pretty stuck on. I was going to try and do something more neat but I didn’t really have the materials and was impatient. I also basically knew it was gonna break from the overwhelming number of people saying there’s broke as well.
