It's late, I'm bored. Let's do this! You know how it goes.

What if?
https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2023/04/03/thumbnails/3531474.jpeg

1. An earth quack evacuation alert was issued and you only had space for one figure.

2. A family member's pet discovered your collection and decided to "play" with it.

3. Now that things are getting serious with your new-ish partner you discovered they're a smoker... a heavy smoker.

4. You found your rarest, most coveted grail, but it has a really big flaw. Price is reasonable but not under market value.

5. You won a GSC contest that allowed you to submit one figure request. New or re-release, any of their lines.

6. Amiami announced that for one day only all their in-stock items (not pre-owned) are going to be free shipping. You don't currently want anything from them though.

7. You found a VERY expensive and rare figure in a yard sale for next to nothing, you know for a fact that the seller really needs the money and doesn't know what they have.

1. mixed between ITEM #1465128 or ITEM #3446

2. i almost never let the house pets into my room as its very small, plus i’d say my collections in a pretty sturdy place it’d be unlikely

3. i have asthma so i probably couldnt handle it so the figures wouldnt matter in that case

4. it would depend on the flaw & price

5. something of ENTRY #1691

6. i dont order from amiami, & i only get figures i really want

7. if it was a figure i wanted, i would buy it, but would offer to pay more for its value

1. My one item to take in an emergency evacuation would be my Volks Super Dollfie one-off version Lady Sylvie (steampunk pirate). She's the only doll or figure I have who is literally not replaceable at any price, because as the one-off name implies, she is an official one-of-a-kind.

2. Owner of the misbehaving pet would be required to pay current replacement price (or provide physical replacements) for all damages incurred, including recovery by small claims court if attempts to dodge responsibility occur.

3. The newly-discovered smoker is immediately no longer my partner. I can be friends with smokers (if well-behaved), but never romantically involved.

4. I ignore the flawed grail. There will always be another seller who has exactly what you want, given some patience, so there is no reason to settle for an item with damage that bothers you at a price that doesn't wow you.

5. For the figure request, I make an open-ended poll on MFC and allow everyone to have a vote on what GSC should make out of this contest. I have no personal preference for the company, so I would like the community to get something it wants collectively.

6. If I don't want anything AmiAmi has new in stock at the time, then the free shipping doesn't matter to me. I guess I could post about it on MFC to let others know, assuming that I didn't find out about it from here in the first place.

7. I'm buying the yard sale underpriced figure, either for myself or even to resell, at the asking price given. The buyer is not responsible for knowing or caring about the seller's personal circumstances, only the price that is asked of them.

1. An earth quack evacuation alert was issued and you only had space for one figure.
ITEM #1453434

2. A family member's pet discovered your collection and decided to "play" with it.

I'd be very upset, and either cry or get angry. I would ask them to reimburse me financially, but then only repurchase my favorite figures and use the rest of the money elsewhere.

3. Now that things are getting serious with your new-ish partner you discovered they're a smoker... a heavy smoker.

I myself am a smoker. As long as they smoke outside/far away from the figures, i don't mind. We're in the same boat after all..

4. You found your rarest, most coveted grail, but it has a really big flaw. Price is reasonable but not under market value.
As long as I can get a good deal and fix him, im totally taking it ITEM #609498

5. You won a GSC contest that allowed you to submit one figure request. New or re-release, any of their lines.
Mugen figma, to go with the nendoroid ITEM #1781688

6. Amiami announced that for one day only all their in-stock items (not pre-owned) are going to be free shipping. You don't currently want anything from them though.
Then I won't get anything for myself. I may get a gift for another, and definitely spread the word for those that do have things they want

7. You found a VERY expensive and rare figure in a yard sale for next to nothing, you know for a fact that the seller really needs the money and doesn't know what they have.
I'm still taking the deal, but i will give them a bit of an extra "tip" just cuz. Without revealing any figure information

1. An earth quack evacuation alert was issued and you only had space for one figure.

ITEM #790325

2. A family member's pet discovered your collection and decided to "play" with it.

It is actually impossible for a pet to reach one of my figures. Otherwise if a pet is successful it will regret that decision instantly.

3. Now that things are getting serious with your new-ish partner you discovered they're a smoker... a heavy smoker.

Fine with me, smoke outside. my smell is luckily not that good.

4. You found your rarest, most coveted grail, but it has a really big flaw. Price is reasonable but not under market value.

Won’t buy it.

5. You won a GSC contest that allowed you to submit one figure request. New or re-release, any of their lines.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi scale figure.

6. Amiami announced that for one day only all their in-stock items (not pre-owned) are going to be free shipping. You don't currently want anything from them though.

Then I won’t buy.

7. You found a VERY expensive and rare figure in a yard sale for next to nothing, you know for a fact that the seller really needs the money and doesn't know what they have.

Split the difference in overvalue and bid that over the price he’s asking.

These are fun 8D

1. Easy! ITEM #1050729

2. My pets do this all the time sadly 8D A lot of figures have been 'played' with.

3. Outside you go then!

4. I don't care :> A lot of my figures have flaws and I love all of them. Home you goo

5. Absolutely ENTRY #39477 . If he ever gets a decent figure I can die in peace.

6. I don't order from Amiami and I really only buy what I really want :>

7. I would love to say; 'welp should've done their research then', and buy it, but if I'm really honest...I'd just tell them what it would be truly worth especially if they needed the money that badly.

1. Based on my username it's a Sebastian figure of course: ITEM #3492.

2. I would try to pet-proof my collection. I've dealt with this when I lived back home with the cats who'd like to knock over or chew on figures.

3. They'd have to smoke outside. Not just for my figures, cigarette smoke ruins a lot of stuff.

4. It depends on how rare it is. If it hardly ever shows up for sale I'd go for it. If it's just hard to find at a good price but not hard to find in general, I'd pass.

5. I'd ask for a 1/7 scale of this guy: ENTRY #32667. Although I'd rather it not be GSC but that's the prompt.

6. I'd pass on it. There's no sense buying something I don't like.

7. This is tough. I think for me it would depend on why they needed the money. If it's for something dire like a medical bill/paying rent I'd be honest and tell them the real value. If it's something not so immediate like tuition or something, I'd just pay their asking price.

1.currently my Kaworu NENDOROID :) biggest comfort character
2. My collection is up high on a shelf so I doubt any pet could reach it, but I wouldn’t really be mad. I don’t have a big collection, most of my stuff are easily replaceable or fixable

3. Immediately break up. It’s not just about the figures, smoking in general is just a big turn off for me.

4.Mmmm…. Aoba scale. It really depends, is it fixable? I sorta had it happen when I saw it on eBay without a big part of it. If it’s not an easy fix, I’d just pass.

5. God. This is hard as hell. I mean… I could reissue the Aoba scale. But also I want Akihiko NENDOROID, though I feel like aoba is less likely to ever happen so I’d rerelease that

6. If it’s nothing I wanted I wouldn’t get it, there’s only space in my collection for things I truly love

7. I’d feel bad- but I’d just take it. Better for me, and if I don’t know them, what they don’t know won’t hurt them
Thanks for this :) my flight got delayed so I’ve been bored out my mind

1. ITEM #31446
2. my cat is always up in my collection, i'd most likely just try to shoo them away or pick them up myself and move them elsewhere and give them something else to play with instead.
3. smoking inside the house is already horrendous in itself, especially around valuables - i'd ask politely to smoke outside
4. funny enough that's exactly what happened with ITEM #31446 - i found him on mercari japan for $150 but with his arm broken at the shoulder. all he needed was some super glue and was perfect, i don't change his pose too often for it to become all that big of an issue either. other than that i honestly don't mind broken pieces and/or scuffs/paint transfers as long as it's priced accordingly.
5. i'd say maka from soul eater if her pop up parade hadn't gotten announced but i'd love to see ENTRY #4943 or ENTRY #3691 get some nendoroid love
6. i think i'd initially be super excited and search what they had but most likely not get anything if i didn't already have in mind what i wanted
7. like a couple other people said, i'd take it if it was something i wanted, if not i'd make them aware of what they had

1. i've actually thought about this scenario before (for a tiktok..) and even though i dont really have to worry about this ever happening to me, i think id have to save my stocking anarchy figure (ITEM #54503), its likely one of my most valuable figures and is kind of sentimental to me because it was one of the first figures i got, also the figure is screwed into the base so it would be easy to carry (i think id be able to pocket a nendoroid or two though)

2. as much as i want to say i doubt this will ever happen a few of my aunts and uncles have some incredibly rough dogs, if this were to ever happen i think i would probably put a permanent child gate on my door to keep them out, im not really sure what else i could do

3. i really doubt that if i got with someone and they were a heavy smoker i would stay with them but if that did happen, id try my best to keep them out of the house when they want to smoke, and probably lock up my figures somewhere .. . (×﹏×)

4. i would buy it instantly.. im not above buying figures i like with flaws, quite a few of my second hand figures unfortunately have some minor scratches and spots that could use a touch of paint, i know that isn't exactly comparable to "a really big flaw" but i think i would still want it no matter what due to it being my "most coveted grail"

5. assuming im ignoring licensing issues and how old the origin is, i think id either pick a figure of aoi mukou, kasane teto, or yuno gasai. there aren't nearly enough figures of any of my girls in my opinion 。゜゜(´O`) ゜゜。

6. i would likely look for items that my friends and sister would be interested in (as i'm not really interested in the anime and games some of my friends are into) and check for any items i think are cute but i don't know the origin to. at the end of the day though it wouldn't really make much difference because i would likely have to still pay extra fees and customs

7. ive had this happen before oops.. . if i knew they really needed the money i would pay as much as i could for it, but im not exactly rolling in money so i probably wouldnt tell them how much its worth,.. sorry if that makes me seem super selfish lol

We don't get earthquakes in the country I live in :) The borders are far from the fault lines. Would never have to worry about this!

2. A family member's pet discovered your collection and decided to "play" with it.
I will make that family member pay for the ruined figures.

3. Now that things are getting serious with your new-ish partner you discovered they're a smoker... a heavy smoker.
Drop him like a hot potato if he refuses to quit.

4. You found your rarest, most coveted grail, but it has a really big flaw. Price is reasonable but not under market value.
Nope. Not buying it.

5. You won a GSC contest that allowed you to submit one figure request. New or re-release, any of their lines.
Oh boy. Can't answer this as I have multiple things I want.

6. Amiami announced that for one day only all their in-stock items (not pre-owned) are going to be free shipping. You don't currently want anything from them though.
Not gonna partake in it. I have a small space now so anything I don't LOVE is out and will not be added to the collection!

7. You found a VERY expensive and rare figure in a yard sale for next to nothing, you know for a fact that the seller really needs the money and doesn't know what they have.
Take it, but offer to pay a bit more.
