View spoilerHide spoilerbkdk16 days ago#125076933going by similar examples, i think it should just be "League of Legends Series (#)" and then in the ID field put what number in the series each figure is; example being

theres no specific name for said series but there are similar classifications on mfc such as ENTRY #199870 (character pack series 1) and ENTRY #167346 (udf moomin series 4)
im not staff but this seems like the best answer to your problem, but if you're really nervous, id either leave everything drafted or wait for a vib/moderator to answer your question

Alright thanks, I'll go with that then. Editing classification names is easy enough if I want to change it later

Josine16 days ago#125076921League of Legends has several lines of chibi figures that they just refer to as "Series 1", "Series 2" etc with about 25 figures in each line (example: merch.riotgames...) . How should I name the classification for this?

flyingteapot20 days ago#124901312Hi, I have a question about generic items. Aren't these considered generic, and if so, could somebody please explain the difference? browse.v4.php?t... For some reason I thought there was an exception in the rules for Japanese-based mythology, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'll mention the items here (alert/88100) since it's somewhat related.

bkdk21 days ago#124863897can i ask why castoff figures that result in bare breasts arent classified as a NSFW/18+ figure? i was writing this in an alert but scrapped it because there has to be an explanation as to why castoff bare-chests are classified under SFW.
is it because they have a standard SFW display option? if thats so, then figures with bottom cast-off with a covered option theoretically could be SFW also.
just curious because the FAQ just says this: Cast off means that the figure
contains removable parts
and when these parts are removed, the figure becomes
NSFW/capable of full bodily nudity, top or bottom.
NSFW ratings on entries are mostly based on the main image set in the entry, which can often be SFW if a clothed option is available, but may still be NSFW if that "safe" option is too skimpy by MFC NSFW standards (exception is the 18+ rating, which I believe was relatively recently updated to make all items with it NSFW by default).

As for the 18+ rating, it depends on how the manufacturer designates them, since some castoffs aren't marked 18+ by their manufacturer (like how some castoffs aren't in AmiAmi's restricted section).

azureblue23 days ago#124807521I tried asking in the Question and Answer Club but no one replied. I hope it's okay to repost here. My question is:
Sometimes the Pullip line (ENTRY #23398) will collaborate with real-life fashion brands to release miniature versions of their clothes as part of a doll's outfit. My question is how should I add the fashion brands to an entry?
Most often I see them added as "Manufacturer" (for example, ITEM #1802372 has ENTRY #32682 as a manufacturer) but I added some draft entries where I added them as "Designer" (like in ITEM #1874552). Should I change them back to manufacturer?

Heihei is marked as "Producer" on this Pullip: ITEM #1078560

But Angelic Pretty is marked "Manufacturer" on this: ITEM #1712286

However on Dollfies they're under "Label": ITEM #162588

Honestly, due to the differing entry information, you might better be off PMing a Staff member directly OR alert a single entry and compile your thoughts and "overhaul" suggestions (or just alert and ask what designer brands should be classified under via companies when not directly manufacturing a full product).

Trust me when I say you might need to go to them directly o7.

**PERSONALLY** I think they should be label, as "fashion label" defines a trade name or brand of clothing, even if label used in MFC's context is for CD/Music production.
