3★ - My experience with Yorokonde is mostly great
They take a long time to ship out your pre orders though, that’s something you need to be aware.
A plus is that it’s allowed to cancel.

2★ - YOROKONDE shop review

It's time for a (more thorough) store audit.
Overall (59 figures/nendoroids and still counting) I haven't had any major bad experiences (one ordered figure was canceled due to distributor HEO; for minor manufacturer defects or damage to figure boxes I got: partial refund or exchange with a new figure or referral to GSC customer support ~ received a new/replacement figure; I also got a refund for a returned figure, other...), so they still remain my good choice compared to importing from abroad (where there are still dubious shops or proxy dealers ~ although less and less) and also safer alternative mainly for those living in the european soil.
Customer support is mostly responsive and friendly! In the event of a potential problem or when we have a question that we submitted them to with a (ticket), they are ready to step in to resolve the issue. But they don't like canceling orders (tolerant to a certain limit), making requests that we don't fulfill in the end, wasting their time with unreasonable or long questions!!! Their site is still more basic (but functional) despite a recent minor upgrade. At our request through their suppliers, they can add those figures, that are not yet on their sales list, but are available elsewhere. By agreement, they can also meet special requests for figures supplied via proxy, but they are usually thus more expensive than imports from abroad. If you’re looking for ‘merchandise’, look elsewhere as they are more specialized for figures and nendoroids, but are very slowly expanding with the offering. Prices for Europeans were in most cases comparable or cheaper than elsewhere in the past before the time of the pandemic, when their store was not yet so established and filled with customer orders. At the end of 2021, they informed their customers about the increased transport costs of the supplier, which will result in a fluctuation (increase) in the prices of their products, since they do not cover these costs, which led to the dissatisfaction of their customers, including me... In addition, they contributed to the likely additional customer dissatisfaction (with the mentioned upgrade) by showing the prices with 19% German VAT. Only after registration or logging, the 'real' prices (tax rate for the addressee country) are visible, which led to a slightly lower or possibly much higher final price increase - the increase can be very significant for more expensive figures (which applies both to older not yet completed pre-orders and new orders). Therefore, the possibility of compensation for postage with a possible 30-day delay in payment from the day of notification of the request for payment (added several pieces of products in one parquet up to a certain weight and/or size - haul) is welcome. It is gratifying that they pay a lot of attention to the packaging (they recently changed the method, which is very similar to that of AmiAmi), so the products are very carefully packed and thus protected for transport!!!

The BIGGEST disadvantage is that you usually have to wait at least a month or rather a few months longer for the product (I waited even 1/2 year for one figure, but in most cases now that waiting time is around 3+ months, which is even longer as like in other European stores) than with imports from Japan (as with most European stores)!

The downside is that you usually have to wait for the product for at least a month or a few months longer than when importing from Japan (as with most European stores)! Plus there is also payment when the products are actually in stock after release in Japan, with a 30 day deferral of payment from payment notice (or otherwise by prior arrangement)! The most gratifying thing is that they pay a lot of attention to parking and the products are very carefully packaged and thus protected for transport (nowhere else so good)!!! In short, you will not be sorry !!!

4★ - preordering from Yorokonde
A great shop to preorder from if you live in the EU. They seem to be a bit understaffed and hence they are rather slow with processing orders. Give them some time because they do ship your items and the packaging is really secure. Their customer support is great and they are very friendly. It is obvious that they are trying their best to provide for their customers and I really appreciate that.

My only issue with this shop is the shipping options and shipping cost. They only have DHL available and it cost me 10.99 euro.

5★ - This is definitely your place to order from if you're European
I have been a customer of Yorokonde for around five years now, and this is the shop where I basically place almost all of my pre-orders at. I have yet to find a shop in Germany or even Europe that can compete with their prices, and if you don't want to deal with customs or high shipping prices from Japan, this is definitely your place to order from if you're European.

They basically have all current scale figures and Nendoroids up for pre-order, and have a wide selection of prize figures, which especially has been getting better in recent years. If you collect plushies, keychains or other little merchandise, this might not be the best address for you.

I recommend that you make an account, as you can group your pre-orders with each other and have a month time to pay an item once it arrives at their store. You don't have to pay beforehand when you're placing a pre-order. They got a new updated Website recently as well.

I've only had good customer service experiences with them so far - every issue I ever had has been resolved smoothly.

2★ - Horrible customer service
They declare that prices include shipping costs but that is not true. You see the real costs after you fill your address to the order. You cannot see them anywhere else. I bought one item that took weeks to get to me because I accidently chose bank transfer as paying option but even then I paid immediately.

I had made few pre-orders before that so I filled request support form to ask how much shipping would be for those. It's been like one month and no reply nor can I see any support tickets even after I made a new one which got immediate rude response.

Email conversation as follows from which I am truly dumbfounded.
Me:
"Hi, I believe I sent a message via request support over one moth ago but I haven't got any reply or see the ticket anywhere anymore. I was trying to ask the shipping costs for my orders SW15588 and SW15386. But now I wish to cancel the pre-orders because I am not satisfied about your customer support and see you unreliable as a vendor. I'm waiting for your confirmation on my cancellation."

Yorokonde:
"Hi,
we have not received any message from you. Why have you not opened a support ticket in your customer account? Looks like you are an unreliable customer. Your pre-orders have been canceled.
