Aren't they mostly etched in the plastic instead of painted on? That maybe why.

I know nothing about nendoroids but the "Made in China" in white is a little disappointing since it is so front and center.

On my Nendo Ed and Al the printing is pretty light, like Mustang and Hawkeye in the picture. Different series but my Majora's Mask Link has bright white printing like Armstrong. So it probably does just vary by figure.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to express my disappointment at the fact that Alex just got a static pose instead of a fully articulated Nendo with interchangeable parts.

Over the years I’ve noticed that color/size seems to vary by nendo, and haven’t really noticed a pattern. It’s probably determined by which factory it was made in, and when.
